My friend Petra and I met for a beer and some girl talk on Tuesday. Boy, that felt good! I haven't seen her for a while, so we had to update each other on new clothes, boys, career, ... well, the list was infinite, as allways is when there's girly get-together involved. But before we went home, she took some pictures of me ...

Black wedge booties

Got these black wedge ankle booties and they look amazing! I'll probably test them tommorrow, see if they're as comfortable as they seem. Friday night's the perfect time for showing off a fabulous outfit, complemented with 5.1 inch wedges, right?!

Peko Fashion Show 2010

I went to Peko fashion show the other day. The brand that has been making shoes since 1903 showed us three collections by differrent designers. I wasn't really that impressed with what they did, it seemed to me like they wanted to squeeze every idea in one piece, which is almost allways a recipe for disaster. But it wasn't all that bad. I gues there were couple of pairs I'd buy on sale :) I liked the Zigman collection though, it's very feminine and playfull at the same time. 

I will post pictures of event and shoes I took, but first I have to make best of selection ... So for now I'm just gonna add pictures of (in my opinion) the most stylish girl I found there. I present you ... Lucija!

Even in these, I'm such a softy

I'm taller than everyone in these :) And they look better on. You know how things get a character only when you put them on? Well, these peep toe wedge ankle booties are one of those items. I guess I have an eye for these kind of things ... When you see something and you just pass by and then a couple of days later you see someone wear that same whatever and the whole thing just looks fabulous ... Well, I get that concept. And I embrace it completely! Cause it looks amazing. Believe me ;)

I bought Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen's book Influence, got a great deal on ebay. There are not many books on fashion in Ljubljana's libraries, well at least  not many of those that I'd read ... So what's a girl to do but buy them all :) This one will - of course - be a great addition to my collection of inspirational fashion-forward books.

Update on Tuesday, 19th of October: I just got it this morning and I'm having it for breakfast :) I love every word in it! It truly is an art piece! Too bad I have to go to work today, I'd spend a whole day absorbing the Influence ...

Summer sun, cocktails and pink nail polish

Miss it, big time! Every year summer comes and goes so fast. And every september when it's raining most of the time, people seem lost and everyone's energy is low, I get a little bit nostalgic - how very sunny things were a couple of weeks ago :) But there's one good thing about it all - I get to keep pink nail polish! :)

I don't know why I got so obsessed with them, summer's practically over and everybody says I look ridiculous with sunglasses on a cloudy day because they don't get it - that sometimes I like to stylishly travel incognito :) But none the less, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Oh yeah, and I'll probably get clear lens clubmaster glasses, 50s mixed with other fashion eras is ...

Because I read a lot

I just bought this book on ebay and hope to get it soon. I'm slowly working on my own selection of must have books, also about fashion, every once in a while adding stuff that other people recommend ... And this is one of them.  

Aaand since I have another week of extensive studying, this is something I can look forward to read, some lighter and fun stuff that can hopefully provide some new and useful info ... Not that I think I need help or guidance fashion wise, it's just that it's good to get some insight on other people's views on things we fashionistas all like. So Vic, enlighten me! :)  (... we'll se how that goes in about a week or two:)

Update: Postman brought it in this morning (it's Monday, 20th of Sept) and now I'm on page 14. It's even better than I expected! It's such a girly girl's book with lots of useful tips, love it! :)

Knitting is in

Anamarija learning how to knit ... 

It takes a lot of effort and nerves of steel to do it all by yourself, from books, without the help of those who know the craft ... Now that's some girl power right there! ;)

(I hope I'll be able to take pictures of whatever she's knitting, we'll see ...:)

Anyway, this girl is inspiring! I might even try it myself again (my mum taught me when I was about 6 years old).

Retro bag

I finally found a retro looking but new sports bag I can fashionably use when I go to my pilates classes ... Visually I don't want to be this typical boring pilates  instructor, as eccentric as it may sound. So unconsciously I guess I always try to find unique pieces that make me look whimsical, even when I workout and teach.

Granny fashion

I just love this jumpsuit, it's sooo comfy and it got me many compliments :) A good buy, thumbs up! :)
